IRVING, Texas - A total of 156 UCF student-athletes earned recognition on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll during the 2005-06 academic year. Student-athletes named to the honor roll must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or better and participate in a conference-sponsored sport.
Twenty Golden Knights received the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal with cumulative GPAs of 3.75 or better. Four UCF softball and track and field student-athletes earned the commissioner's academic medal.
The UCF football team placed 39 student-athletes on the honor roll, the most of any football squad in the conference. The Golden Knight baseball and track and field programs each had 14 student-athletes garner honor roll accolades.
