2003-04...Compiled a 15-13 record in singles with the majority of her playing time at the No. 5 position...recorded a 10-12 mark in doubles...finished the fall season at 4-2...defeated Jacksonville[apos]s Amber Otto, 6-0, 6-2, to open the spring...earned a three-set victory over USF[apos]s Patty Kolendo, 4-6, 7-5, 6-1...defeated FIU[apos]s Bruna Discordia, 6-1, 6-2 on March 28...took a 6-4, 6-2 win from Stephanie Beaulieu of Florida Atlantic in the Atlantic Sun Semifinals...member of the Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team.
2002-2003...Posted a 19-9 (.679) overall singles record...played at the Nos. 3, 4, and 5 singles positions...went 11-8 (.579) in doubles play... named to the list of 2003 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athletes...won four out of five matches in the Gator Fall Classic defeating Natalie Mikolich, 7-6, 1-6, 6-3, from Florida and Alexandra Smith, 6-0, 7-6, from Miami...defeated Jacksonville[apos]s Amber Otto in the A-Sun Tournament, 6-1, 6-1...member of the Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team.
Prior to UCF... Graduated from Mac Robertson Girls[apos] High School in Melbourne...earned the school[apos]s athletic championship from 1998-2001...ranked third in Australian Junior Tennis Under-18...won the Glen Iris Under-18 Singles title...reached the second round of the Traralgon Hardcourt Championship in both 2000 and 2001...also took both A.C.T. Under-18 Singles and Doubles Championships...advanced to the third round of qualifying in the Mt. Gambier Challenger...also ran cross-country and participated on the track and field team...advanced to the state finals in the 800m, 1500m and 4x100m relay...received her school[apos]s General Excellence (Academic) Award in 1998...played for the University of Kentucky as a freshman...the Wildcats were ranked as high as 11th in the nation that season.
Personal...Born Ola Luczak on December 28, 1983 in Melbourne, Australia...parents are Kris and Eva Luczak...has one older sister Agi and one older brother Peter, who attended Fresno State and is currently playing professional tennis...major is psychology...started playing tennis at age eight because her older siblings were involved in the sport...considers her speed, positive attitude and return of serve assets on the court...her sport role models are her brother Peter and fellow Aussie Patrick Rafter.
