The New Roth Tower is Here!

The new Roth Tower opened on schedule and in time this fall for the start of the 2026 football season. The tower significantly enhances the gameday experience and serves as a premier event space in east Orange County. The tower features increased premium capacity, expanded suite offerings, and provides unique event opportunities year-round, attracting more fans, visitors and events to the Kenneth G. Dixon Athletics Village beyond game days.

TOPPING OUT CEREMONY

On Thursday, August 14, 2025, construction workers placed the ceremonial steel beam on the University of Central Florida Roth Tower addition to FBC Mortgage Stadium, marking the project’s official “topping out” to finalize structural assembly. The topping out is an important construction milestone that typically marks the halfway point of the project. From here, the team will work on enclosing the project and then fitting out the interior. Barton Malow managed the project's construction.

UCF Athletics receives UCF Board of Trustees approval to more forward with funding plan and tower development project

Florida Board of Governors approved Tower project and funding plan

UCF holds groundbreaking ceremony for the new Roth Tower.

AUGUST 2025

UCF holds topping off ceremony as the final steel beam was raised atop the exterior structure of the new tower. The original structure remained in place for the 2025 football season.

NOVEMBER 2025

UCF plays its final game of the 2025 season in late November. Soon after, what remained of the original stadium tower was removed, clearing the way for construction of the new, expanded tower.

AUGUST 2026

UCF celebrates the reopenig of the new Roth Tower project at Acrisure Bounce House in front of more then 300 VIPs and special guests inside the newly renovated Tower Club.

  • Minor site work will begin
  • Fans will experience no interruption to their gameday experience 
  • After the final home game of the 2024 season, construction will begin on:
      • The wings of the tower expansion on the north and south ends of the current tower
      • New premium parking area at the entrance to the Hagle Football Gateway on the current location of the west practice field
      • The Promenade which will lead fans from the entrance of the Hagle Football Gateway past the future Taylor A. Gerring Football Center and McNamara Cove and into Nicholson Plaza and FBC Mortgage Stadium
FALL 2025

  • Existing Tower and Club will remain operational for 2025 season
  • North and South expansion structure and roof will take shape around existing tower 
  • West expansion foundations and columns in place
  • At the conclusion of the 2025 season the existing tower will cease operations to complete remaining structure and interior buildout
