Prior to UCF: Three-year letterman in both baseball and football at Sebring High School...Coached on the baseball diamond by Hoppy Rewis...Part of three consecutive district championship teams at Sebring...Named team[apos]s offensive player of the year after posting a .394 batting average with five home runs, eight triples and 26 RBI as a senior...Pounded out six home runs and six doubles as a junior.
