Brad Anderson joined UCFAA in July 2021 and was promoted a month later to director of equipment.
In 16 seasons, Anderson has been a part of seven different equipment staffs across four different collegiate and professional organizations.
He got his start in the field as a scholarship student manager at Florida State University in 2007. While earning his bachelor's degree in sports management at FSU, Anderson became the head student manager and completed two training camp internships with the New York Jets.
He spent the 2012 and 2013 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers before joining the University of Miami equipment staff as an intern in May 2014. Anderson worked for the Canes for five years, serving several roles including assistant director of football equipment and head of Olympic sports. His time was also marked by helping with Miami's transition from Nike to Adidas.
Anderson also has experience working for the Tampa Bay Vipers of the XFL and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). While at UFC, he was primarily responsible for a 75,000 square foot warehouse that stored all apparel for fighters and corners as well as assisting with the transition from Reebok to Venum for all UFC Events.
Anderson was selected as the Athletic Equipment Managers Association District 3 Equipment Manager of the Year in February 2023. Anderson is married his wife, Jenifer, in February 2020. They live in Orlando, Florida, with a puppy named Gerald.
