Entering its 20th season in 2026, Acrisure Bounce House sits as the crown jewel in UCF’s Kenneth G. Dixon Athletics Village. The on-campus stadium opened in 2007, giving the Knights their first true home stadium after spending the previous 28 seasons at the Florida Citrus Bowl (now known as Camping World Stadium) in downtown Orlando. The on-campus stadium debuted on Sept. 15, 2007 against the No. 6 Texas Longhorns in front of a capacity crowd for a game that was televised live nationally on ESPN2.

A tradition was born on that first game. Before kickoff, Zombie Nation’s Kernkraft 400 rang through the speakers as the pregame clock wound toward triple zeros. The anticipation of the upcoming kickoff against a top-10 Texas squad sent fans to their feet and jumping to the beat. The electricity of the moment turned into kinetic energy. Knight Nation’s excitement became a force of its own, sending the stadium bouncing in rhythm with the music.

On that day, the “Bounce House” was born.

The venue’s inaugural season saw UCF finish the year with six-straight home wins, including a 44-25 victory over Tulsa in the Conference USA championship game. The Knights have won four of their six conference championships on home turf, hoisting CUSA trophies in 2007 and 2010 and American Athletic Conference titles in 2017 and 2018.

Located on the northeast corner of campus, the Bounce House received a major upgrade ahead of the 2026 season as an expanded Roth Tower was completed. The refreshed space saw a 256% increase in square footage of usable club space for gameday and non-gameday events, jumping from 4,400 square feet to 15,650. The renovation included loge seating, 42% more club seats and 28 luxury suites that are 38% larger than the previous ones. New experiences were installed throughout the tower, including 34 outdoor sky suites. Roth Tower includes four levels and provides substantially more shade across the stadium bowl than before. The addition of Roth Tower added 1,700 seats, raising the seating capacity to 45,906.

Roth Tower was the first project from Orange County’s 2023 Tourist Development Tax (TDT) funding cycle to receive funding, break ground and open. The facility was made possible through the support of Orange County and the region’s tourism and hospitality community, whose investment is helping strengthen sports, entertainment and economic development opportunities in the area.

The Bounce House underwent its first major renovation in the summer of 2015, adding the Carl Black and Gold Cabana on the east side of the stadium. The cabana is a Florida-themed social area and lounge that was later expanded in 2017 and features 2,921 chair-back seats and an open-air sun deck. Two additional premium areas were added in 2017, with the debut of field cabanas in each endzone. Additionally, the Stadium Club was opened and now exists as the Tower Club after the 2026 Roth Tower renovation.

UCF’s scoreboard made its debut in 2016, measuring 114 by 36 feet. The all-LED display features Daktronics 15MM HD pixel layout for excellent image clarity. The south endzone received a Daktronics makeover in 2017, adding a ribbon board that measured 119 by 7.

The Bounce House received its first new playing surface ahead of the 2025 season. TifTuf® Bermudagrass was installed by Carolina Green Corp, using grass from a nearby sod farm in Vero Beach.
