2024 UCF Football Media Day from Nicholson Fieldhouse

ORLANDO – With the first week of practice in the books and the calendar shifting to August, UCF’s second season in the Big 12 Conference is officially on the horizon. And this afternoon, the Knights commenced the month by holding its annual media day.

News outlets and reporters from across the Orlando area and throughout Florida made the journey to Nicholson Fieldhouse, just steps away from FBC Mortgage Stadium where the Black and Gold will open their 2024 season against New Hampshire on August 29.

More than a dozen student-athletes on both sides of the ball spoke with reporters before head coach Gus Malzahn took the podium. Embarking on his fourth season, Malzahn made an opening statement before fielding questions for a half hour from more than 30 reporters. His full presser can be watched below:

Following his session, position coaches along with coordinators sat down to discuss their respective groups and give a preview of what UCF fans can expect from their units. Here is a full list of every coach and player who spoke this afternoon:
