Trent Mossbrucker was named Assistant Director of Football Operations at UCF in April 2017. He came to the Knights from Yale, where he served as the team's Chief of Staff for two years.
Prior to his tenure at Yale, Mossbrucker spent 2014 as a graduate assistant at the University of Indianapolis (2014 GLVC Champions), working with the Greyhounds’ defense. He focused on the same area as a 2013 graduate assistant at St. Lawrence University.
Mossbrucker was a placekicker at Iowa from 2008-12. In 2008, he set the school record for most points scored by a freshman (70) while leading the Big Ten in field goal percentage (.867). He was on the Hawkeyes' roster for four bowl games, including the 2009 Outback, 2010 Insight, 2010 Orange and 2011 Insight.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in both communications and history from Iowa in 2012.
Mossbrucker, who won the Indiana Mr. Football Position Award while at Mooresville High School, is a member of the American Football Coaches Association.
