REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2009):
-Appeared in 10 games and rushed 11 times for 47 yards on the ground with four catches for 46 yards and one touchdown through the air
-At ECU 9/26: Rushed one time for 18 yards in his first-collegiate game
-At Rice 10/24: Rushed five times for 16 yards
-Tulane 11/21: Caught two passes for 23 yards and one touchdown
TRUE FRESHMAN SEASON (2008):
-Received a redshirt
HIGH SCHOOL:
-Earned four letters under head coach Bill Ashton at Shoreham-Wading River High School
-Became Suffolk County[apos]s third all-time leading rusher following his senior season when he rushed for 1,458 yards and 17 touchdowns
-For his career, finished with 4,936 yards and 52 touchdowns
-Named All-Long Island Second Team in 2006 and 2007 by Newsday and was an All-County honoree as a senior, junior and sophomore
-First player in Suffolk County history to earn a player of the week award in three-consecutive seasons
-As a junior, broke the school[apos]s single-season rushing mark with 1,668 rushing yards and added 21 touchdowns
-Ranked as the No. 6 fullback prospect in the country by ESPN.com
-Also a standout on defense, where he posted 248 career tackles, 34 tackles for loss and had five interceptions
-Ranked as the 46th best strong side linebacker prospect in the country by Scout.com and as the No. 10 overall prospect in the state of New York by Scout.com
-Also received recruiting interest from Boston College, Connecticut, Penn State, Rutgers and Syracuse
