Knights' Fans Out In Force in Columbus
One group of UCF graduates and fans drove all the way from Orlando to support the Knights.
"Overall the ride wasn't too bad," 2008 UCF gradaute Anthony Vento said. "We had to come up here and support our team."
Another group drove 12 hours from New York watch the game, including the brother of UCF senior Rob Calabrese. This was a game Rob's brother marked on his calendar at the beginning of the season.
"I know he had a chance to play at Texas a while back. We wanted to try and go to that, but we weren't able to make it," Michael Calabrese said. "It's nice to get to a big stadium. It's a great experience."
The UCF faithful showing up at nationally-televised games like this one can do nothing but help the growth of the program.
"The fans showing up shows the bowls that we travel well," 1992 UCF graduate Philip Greenwald said. "It's big for the team."

I was at the game and overheard an OSU fan say that the UCF fans were as loud as any that he's ever heard in the Horseshoe. Nicely done UCF fans!
