Saturday's game in Tampa was a success on and off the court for the UCF men's basketball program. On the floor, the Knights dominated the Bulls, posting a 74-56 victory in the first game inside the renovated Sun Dome.

In the stands, UCF supporters had plenty to cheer about. A huge contingent of UCF fans were on hand at the Sun Dome, including two busloads full of UCF Victory Club members. The official support group of the men's basketball program, the Victory Club aims to provide fan and financial support to the Knights.

Over 100 members of the group left Orlando for Tampa on Saturday afternoon on a pair of buses. Once on the west coast, the group joined the Tampa chapter of the UCF Alumni Association for a pregame function and then headed to the Sun Dome. The group, along with a nice turnout of UCF students, were loud right from the start. "Black-Gold" chants filled the facility on numerous occasions and the fans erupted after every Isaiah Sykes assist, Keith Clanton dunk and 3-pointer from Tristan Spurlock, Kasey Wilson and Rod Days.

"Our fan support was incredible," UCF head coach Donnie Jones said. "For the Victory Club to bring two buses full of supporters means so much to our players and our program. That makes a major statement about our program and our university when our fans travel to road games."

On the bus ride back to campus late Saturday evening, players like Sykes and Spurlock thanked UCF supporters on Twitter for making their presence felt inside the Sun Dome.

The Victory Club bus trip was organized by group members like Jacqueline Maddron and Scott Rose, in conjunction with the Golden Knights Club.
