Clayton Geathers returned home to UCF to join Gus Malzahn's coaching staff in April 2022 as assistant director of personnel/defensive backs assistant.
Geathers played safety for the Knights from 2011-14, starting all 52 games of his career, and helping to lead the Knights to back-to-back American Athletic Conference Championships in 2013 and 2014.
He was a member of UCF's 2014 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl winning team that defeated Baylor and finished the year ranked 10th in the nation. Geathers was a two-time all-conference honoree and played in the Reese's Senior Bowl following the 2014 season.
Geathers was selected 109th overall in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts and played five seasons in Indy, starting 34 times in 56 games played. He totaled 244 tackles, four TFLs, 10 pass deflections, two forced fumbles, one recovery and one interception.
