ORLANDO – This weekend in the NFL's 10th week, 11 former UCF football players saw action, including a pair of cornerbacks in Shaquill Griffin and Mike Hughes, who helped lead their teams to crucial conference victories.
Griffin and the Seattle Seahawks defeated the then undefeated San Francisco 49ers 27-24 on Sunday, handing the 49ers their first loss of the season. The Seahawks improved to 8-2 on the year with the victory.
Finishing with six total tackles, Griffin also had two pass break-ups, including one in the final moments of the game to secure the victory for the Seahawks.

Hughes, meanwhile, helped lead the Minnesota Vikings to a 28-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys. The Vikings are now 7-3 on the season, just one-game back of the Green Bay Packers for first place in the NFC North.
Starting at corner, Hughes totaled seven tackles in the win, and like Griffin, had two pass break-ups to help lead his team to victory.
