HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Minersville High School
- Led Minersville to the District 11 Class 2A semifinals, finishing with a nine-win season
- Threw for 1,822 yards, 29 touchdowns and eight interceptions during his senior season in 2025, adding 1,396 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns on the ground.
- Tallied 5,891 yards through the air with 79 passing touchdowns in his high school career, as well as 3,535 rushing yards with 57 touchdowns
- Owns the Minersville school record for career passing touchdowns, career rushing touchdowns and passing yards
- Named a two-time All-State First Team Quarterback
- In addition to football, Carr lettered in three other sports, having participated in basketball, baseball and track for Minersville
- Carr competed in long jump and the 4x100-meter relay, holding school records in both categories. He was part of the 4x100 meter relay team that clocked a 43.8 second time; two weeks later Carr recorded a 22-foot-10-inch long jump.
- In hoops, Carr reached the 1,000-point milestone; he averaged 14.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.4 steals per game in his junior season of 2024-25
- His mother, Katie Rowland Carr, also scored 1,000 points in basketball at Minersville, becoming the first parent/child combo to hit the milestone; at his time of committing to UCF, the duo are two of 41 athletes in Minersville history to reach the 1,000-point threshold
