Corey Meredith began in 2021 as the assistant director of sports performance at UCF, working specifically with the football program under director of sports performance Chris Dawson. He previously held the same role since 2010 at Kansas State under Dawson. Meredith also worked as an assistant strength coach for the NFL Kansas City Chiefs from 2001-04.
Then he worked in the same role at Kansas from 2005-09, assisting with the football and women’s tennis programs. Meredith played football at Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas—captaining the team in 1999 and earning all-conference recognition. He also received academic all-conference honors and was a 1999 Academic All-American.
He graduated cum laude from Bethany in 2000 and received a master’s degree in exercise science from Kansas in 2008. Meredith and his wife Gina are parents of two sons—Bo and Ty.
