Rhett Brooks joined the UCF athletics department as an assistant director of sports performance, working with the Knights football program, in the spring of 2020.
Brooks came to UCF following a stint as associate head strength and conditioning coach for football at Arkansas in 2018 and 2019.
He also spent time as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at SMU from 2015 to 2017 and an offensive player development coach at Clemson from 2012 to 2014.
Brooks played as an offensive lineman at Murray State from 2005-08, earning his bachelor's degree from the university in 2009.
He also earned a master's degree from UNLV and was a defensive graduate assistant with the football program from 2009 to 2011.
Brooks is a NSCA certified strength and conditioning specialist.
