Miguel Carodine joined the UCF Sports Performance staff, working directly with the Knights football program during the spring of 2020.
Carodine came to UCF following a stint at Georgetown as an assistant strength and conditioning coach, from 2017-20. He was a part of five Big East Championships and one National Championship with the Hoyas.
Prior to his time in D.C., Carodine worked as an intern assistant strength coach with the South Florida football program during 2016 and 2017.
A former football player at Florida from 2006-10, he spent 2012-14 as a graduate assistant and strength and conditioning intern with the Gators. Carodine played safety for the Gators, winning National Championships in 2006 and 2008.
Carodine is a certified strength and conditioning specialist from NSCA, a performance enhancement specialist from NASM, and a certified speed specialist - level II from the National Association of Speed and Explosion.
He is certified as a sports performance coach for USA Weightlifting and the USTFCCA and is CPR certified by the American Heart Association.
Carodine earned his Bachelor of Science from Florida in 2011 and his Master of Science from California University of Pennsylvania in 2016.
