Jacob Bronowski joined the UCF coaching staff in 2020 as a special teams quality control assistant. He arrived in Orlando after two seasons as an assistant with the Robert Morris University football team, serving as the team’s special teams coordinator and coaching tight ends.
Prior to his appointment with the Colonials, Bronowski spent four seasons on the staff at The University of New Mexico. In his most recent position, which he served in 2016 and 2017, he was an assistant wide receivers and quarterbacks coach as well as the special teams graduate assistant. In that role, he was responsible for calling the special teams plays and making adjustments on game day. He also assisted the offensive coaching staff recognize opponent coverage schemes and make pass calls. During the week, Bronowski would handle opponent scouting with a focus on special teams and the Lobos offense.
During the 2014 and 2015 seasons, Bronowski was a student assistant with the special teams staff at New Mexico. He was responsible for all opponent film breakdowns which he would then prepare for special teams meetings. Bronowski was a walk-on quarterback with the Lobos in the spring of 2013 before joining the staff.
