Makenzie Franklin joined the UCF Football staff as the Director of On-Campus Recruiting in June of 2018.
Franklin comes to UCF after two seasons as the Director of On-Campus Recruiting at Tennessee. With the Vols she was primarily responsible for planning and coordinating all prospect visits to campus in addition to recruiting board management. Prior to her promotion, she spent five seasons with the Volunteers – four as a student worker and one as a post-graduate intern. During her time in Knoxville the Volunteers brought in six Top 20 recruiting classes, two within the Top 5.
She graduated from Tennessee in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a Pre-Medical concentration. She is a native of Delaplane, Virginia.
