HIGH SCHOOL
• Coached by Tim McFarlin at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School
• Rivals and ESPN gave him three stars
• ESPN ranked him as the No. 88 outside linebacker in the nation
• Set school records with 433 career tackles, 46 games played, 27 tackles for loss and 21 tackles in a game
• Also had 40 receptions for 809 yards and 11 touchdowns in his high school career
• School reached the 2014 GHSA Class AAA state semifinals and the state quarterfinals in 2012 and 2013
• Team captain his final two seasons, and the team MVP in 2014
• Named the 2014 Atlanta Journal Constitution AAA Defensive Player of the Year
• Selected to the all-state first team and to the all-region first team as both a linebacker and tight end
• Posted 130 tackles (95 solo) as a senior with four interception and 10 tackles for loss, and as a tight end, collected eight touchdown passes including a 70-yard score in the state semifinals
• In 2013, had 112 tackles with nine tackles for loss and a pair of sacks, while also forcing two fumbles en route to all-state honorable mention status
• Boasted 131 tackles with an interceptions and three forced fumbles as a sophomore
• Started seven games on the varsity team as a freshman, completing the year with 60 tackles and the school’s Rookie of the Year award
• Along with serving as a linebacker and tight end, received two letters as a forward on the basketball team and played outfield on the freshman baseball squad
• Honor Roll Magna Cum Laude each semester in high school
• Founding member of the Blessed Trinity Interact service program, and performed 125 hours of community service in high school
