SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014)
-Named to the All-American Athletic Conference First Team
-Earned a spot on Phil Steele's Postseason All-Conference Third Team
-Received the team's Outstanding Offensive Back award at its annual banquet
-Worked through injuries to start seven of 10 games played
-Rushed for 697 yards on 189 carries, and had 10 touchdowns
-Also boasted 11 receptions for 55 yards and two scores
-At Missouri 9/13: The sophomore tailback received his first career start and hauled in his second touchdown reception as a Knight in the second quarter. Stanback also added 15 carries for 33 yards
-Bethune-Cookman 9/20: Stanback boasted his first career 100-yard rushing game, going for 104 yards and two touchdowns
-At Houston 10/2: Rushed 14 times for 44 yards
-BYU 10/9: Totaled 44 yards on 14 carries and a score, while adding two catches for 18 yards and a touchdown reception
-Tulane 10/18: Carried the ball 16 times for 45 yards and one score
-Temple 10/25: Rushed 26 times for 94 yards and two touchdowns
-At UConn 11/1: Finished with 141 yards on a season-high 28 rushes and tied his season-best with two touchdowns
-Tulsa 11/14: Gained 54 yards on 17 carries
-At East Carolina 12/4: Amassed 101 rushing yards on 24 carries, and also had two touchdowns
TRUE FRESHMAN SEASON (2013)
-All-American Athletic Conference Second Team

-Earned a spot on the two-deep in the offseason as a true freshman
-Off the bench, rushed for 443 yards on 105 attempts, collecting six touchdowns
-Caught 15 passes for 186 yards and a touchdown, and also had 11 kickoff returns for 218 yards
-Finished with 847 all-purpose yards and 42 points, while chipping in nine tackles and one forced fumble on special teams
-Akron 8/29: Tallied seven carries with 38 yards in UCF debut
-At FIU 9/6: Gained 58 yards on nine carries
-At Penn State 9/14: Posted 36 yards on nine carries
-At Memphis 10/5: Carried the ball seven times for 27 yards and a score, and delivered a crucial big hit on special teams and forced a fumble that was picked up by DB Drico Johnson and returned for a touchdown
-At Louisville 10/18: Tallied 65 yards rushing with two scores on nine carries. Also added 79 yards on kickoff return duties with three total returns
-UConn 10/26: Ran the ball five times for 21 yards and returned one kickoff for 22 yards
-Houston 11/9: Rushed for 74 yards on nine carries and delivered a pair of rushing touchdowns in the second half, tying a career high for the true freshman
-At Temple 11/16: Carried the ball eight times for 25 yards and also scored on a 49-yard catch and run
-Rutgers 11/21: Rushed for one touchdown and six yards on 10 carries, while posting two catches for 24 yards including a 20-yarder that made national headlines for his run after the reception
-USF 11/29: Gained 33 yards on 10 carries, and had six receptions for 69 yards
-At SMU 12/7: Recorded 30 yards on nine carries
-Tostitos Fiesta Bowl 1/1: Totaled 33 yards on 13 carries
HIGH SCHOOL
-Coached by Greg Didio at Uniondale where he left holding the school's career rushing yards record with 4,168 yards
-Also had school records with 47 career touchdowns and 4,966 total yards
-Played running back, quarterback, safety and linebacker for Uniondale, serving as a co-captain in 2011 and 2012
-As a senior, punished defenses for 1,350 rushing yards with 19 touchdowns, and had 358 passing yards as well en route to the MSG Varsity All-Metro Second Team and the All-Long Island Second Team
-Collected 75 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions on the defensive side of the ball in 2012
-For the Knights in 2012, had a single-game career-high 335 rushing yards and scored four touchdowns in a win over Plainview JFK
-A week before that contest, played quarterback in a victory vs. Freeport, rushing for 231 yards and four touchdowns, while on defense he posted 10 tackles and two interceptions
-Named the Offensive MVP in the 2012 Nassau County Senior Bowl, scoring two offensive touchdowns and returning an interception for a score in his team's 26-13 win
-Earned all-county honors his final three seasons
-In 2011, collected 1,437 rushing yards with 15 touchdowns, and on defense had 58 tackles with 10 sacks and one interception
-Rushed for 1,256 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2010, while posting 43 tackles, two sacks and two interceptions
-Finished freshman year with 125 yards and three touchdowns, and had two kickoff returns for touchdowns
-Also participated in wrestling and track and field, running the 100m and 200m, while also helping the 4x100 relay team earn first place at the 2012 Edy Games by posting the second-fastest time in the state at 42.58
-Competed in the 2012 4x100 national championship, and was on the Nassau All-County Exceptional Senior Team
-Received interest from Syracuse, Connecticut, Rutgers, Pittsburgh, Maine and Stony Brook while in high school

-Parents are Bill and Patricia Stanback
