-Selected to the All-American Athletic Conference Second Team
-Earned a spot on Phil Steele[apos]s Postseason All-Conference Second Team
-Named the team[apos]s Most Improved Defensive Player
-Started all 13 games up front for the Knights
-Racked up 35 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss, 7.0 sacks, a break-up and a blocked kick
-At Croke Park Classic vs. Penn State 8/30: Posted four total tackles while adding one sack for a loss of nine yards
-At Houston 10/2: Mamea had a career high three sacks
-BYU 10/9: Added five total tackles (four solo) and one pass break-up

-Made three starts in 12 games, boasting 15 tackles with 4.0 for a loss and 2.0 sacks
-Akron 8/29: Posted two assisted tackles
-At Memphis 10/5: Registered two assisted tackles
-At Temple 11/16: Recorded two solo tackles and a sack
-At SMU 12/7: Totaled four tackles (three solo)
-Also had one tackle vs. FIU, Louisville, UConn, Houston and Baylor
PRIOR TO UCF
-Played for coach Danny Calcagno at Chabot College in California
-Racked up 34 tackles, nine tackles for loss and four sacks in 2011
-Named to the All-Golden State Conference First Team as a sophomore defensive end, as well as to the all-region first team
-Helped Chabot to a conference title and a berth in the Capital City Bowl game
-During his freshman season, finished with 17 tackles and three tackles for loss

-Graduated from Samoana High School in 2010, earning two letters for football for coach Gabriel Sewell
-Samoana was the Island-Wide Champions from 2010-11
