-Appeared in 10 games with three starts at OLB and recorded 19 tackles (13 solo) with 0.5 tackles for loss and one interception
-Began to see time as a defensive end towards the end of the season
-Was the only true freshman to start in the 2011 season opener and the first true freshman to start a season opener at linebacker since 2007
-Charleston Southern 9/3: In his first collegiate game, recorded three tackles (two solo)

HIGH SCHOOL:
-Arguably the top defensive prospect to come out of the state of Colorado after the 2010 season, being named the 2010 All-Colorado Defensive Player of the Year
-Played for one of the most decorated high school programs in the state, J.K. Mullen, and for coach David Logan
-The program won three-straight state championships, including a 37-6 triumph over Aurora Regis Jesuit in the 2010 Class 5A title game to finish the year 14-0
-Willingham recorded four sacks in the title game
-Team concluded the 2010 season on a 33-game win streak
-Was named to the prestigious All-Colorado Team in 2010, while also being tapped to the Class 5A all-state first-team
-Recorded 156 tackles (36 solo), five sacks, three fumble recoveries and one interception during his senior season
-As a junior, recorded 115 tackles (29 solo), 13 tackles for loss, one sack and one interception en route to Class 5A all-state honorable mention recognition
-Also all-conference after his sophomore and freshman seasons
-Was rated with four stars from Rivals, while ESPN and Scout listed him with three stars
-A versatile linebacker, was rated No. 13 nationally at outside linebacker by Rivals and the No. 2 overall prospect on its Colorado postseason Top 20 in 2011
-ESPN listed him at No. 23 nationally for inside linebackers and Scout had him No. 69 for outside linebackers
-Lettered in track, competing in the 4x100 relay and long jump
-Chose to attend UCF over several scholarship offers from the likes of Arizona State, Colorado, Michigan, Texas A&M, Washington, Boise State, Colorado State, Kansas State, Minnesota, Oregon and Utah
