SENIOR (2015)
-Started the first game of the year at center, but hung up the pads due to injuries
-Named a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, which recognizes an individual as the absolute best football scholar-athlete in the nation
-For the second straight year, named a nominee for the Wuerffel Trophy which best combines exemplary community service with athletic and academic achievement
JUNIOR (2014)
-Grabbed a spot on the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team
-Nominee for the Wuerffel Trophy
-Worked through injuries to start eight games, and played in nine games overall
-Six starts were at center while two were at right guard
SOPHOMORE (2013)
-Member of the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team
-Switched over to center in the spring of 2013
-Started all 13 games in his first year as the center
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2012)
-Saw game action in eight contests on defense, including a start vs. SMU (11/3)
-At Marshall 10/27: Recorded his first collegiate tackle with two assisted stops against the Thundering Herd
TRUE FRESHMAN (2011)
-Spent time with the scout team
HIGH SCHOOL
-Coached by George Clayton at Lake Brantley, as the team finished 8-2 and runner up in Class 6A Region 1 District 3, qualifying for the state playoffs during Grant's final season
-Rivals and Scout rated him with two stars, while Scout listed him at No. 186 nationally at defensive end
-Finished with 60 tackles as a senior, 42 solo stops, 6.5 sacks and 14 tackles for loss
-Was a team captain and three-year varsity starter
-Named a 2010 Central Florida All-Star and had five tackles and two sacks in the game
-Was a member of the Friday Night Football Florida 2010 All-Orlando Team
-A first-team all-conference and all-county honoree
-Tied for 27th in the Orlando Sentinel's 2011 Central Florida Super60
-Chose UCF over scholarship offers from Colorado State, Navy, East Carolina and Louisiana
