REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2008): Practiced with the scout team and did not see any game action
TRUE FRESHMAN SEASON (2007): Joined the Knights as a walk-on and worked with the scout team
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach John Palmer at Port St. Joe...Named all-state as a senior...Helped Port St. Joe to the 2005 1A state championship...Won the state championship in the discus throw as a senior...Earned four varsity letters apiece in football, track and weightlifting
