Taylor in Training Camp with Wolves
Former UCF star Jermaine Taylor is aiming for a return to the NBA and is spending training camp with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The shooting guard is one of 20 players on Minnesota's training camp roster.
Taylor competed with Chicago in the Las Vegas Summer League in July. In the Bulls' final game, he scored a team-high 21 points on 9-of-18 shooting.
The Tavares native last played in the NBA in 2010-11, appearing in 32 total contests with Houston and Sacramento. He played in 26 games with the Kings, averaging 7.1 points in 15.6 minutes an outing.
Minnesota will open its preseason schedule Wednesday against Indiana in a contest in North Dakota. The Wolves have seven preseason games before opening the regular season on Nov. 2.
