Clanton, Sykes Get Recognition from CBSSports.com
With the start of the season quickly approaching, a pair of Knights have earned some impressive recognition this week. Both Keith Clanton and Isaiah Sykes were recognized by CBSSports.com for being among the best players nationally at their positions.
Clanton was listed as the No. 32 post player in the country. The Conference USA Preseason Player of the Year, Clanton was also ranked by the website as the 82nd-best overall player.
Sykes cracked the top-50 wings list at No. 49. Here is what CBSSports.com's Jeff Goodman had to say about Sykes:
"Keith Clanton g ets most of the attention, but Sykes is deserving of plenty as well. He's long and versatile, and if he can improve his perimeter shot he can be a star. Can handle, defend and score enough."
