Preseason college basketball preview magazines are starting to hit newsstands. Expect UCF senior Keith Clanton to rack up plenty of recognition from the publications.

Clanton, who averaged 14.5 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game a year ago, is a Conference USA Player of the Year candidate. Lindy's Sports had one of the first preseason magazines released this year and Clanton was named to its Preseason All-C-USA First Team. The power forward was also named the 19th-best post player in the country.

On the web, SBNation.com's Mike Rutherford recently listed the top-100 players in the country and Clanton made the list at No. 63. Clanton and Adonis Thomas of Memphis were the only C-USA players to make the list.
