The UCF Knights (1-0) arrived for their walk through at Ohio State around 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon. The team is preparing to play the No.14 Ohio State Buckeyes (1-0) for the first time in school history. Last week, UCF played just two hours away from Columbus in Akron, Ohio, where the Knights steamrolled over the Zips, 56-14.

The Knights are looking to defeat their first ranked, non-conference opponent in school history and also earn a win against a Big Ten opponent for the first time.

UCF's offense will be led by sophomore quarterback Blake Bortles, who threw for 168 yards and three touchdowns last week. One player who won't play this week is senior running back Latavius Murray. He is nursing a shoulder injury from the Knights' season opener. Head Coach George O'Leary says he is week-to-week.

Starting in Murray's place will be sophomore Storm Johnson. Behind Johnson will be senior Brynn Harvey and freshman running back Cedric Thompson. Those three combined for 91 rushing yards and three touchdowns last week against Akron.

Saturday's game is expected to feature one of the largest crowds the Knights have ever played in front of. The most fans ever to see a UCF football game was 103,029 at Penn State in 2002. Ohio Stadium holds more than 102,000 fans.

Weather Report

Saturday's forecast includes a 60-percent chance of  showers, along with a possible thunderstorm in the morning, then partly cloudy conditions later in the day. The forecast high is 72 degrees.
