ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF softball team had 22 members named as 2020-21 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes, per the NFCA's release on Tuesday afternoon.
As a team, the Knights posted a 3.61 GPA over the course of the previous school year. Members of the 2020-21 squad who earned higher than a 3.5 and were recognized as an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete are listed below:

The Knights were unable to crack the top 10 teams with the highest GPA in Division I, missing the mark by 0.09 grade points.
Over 8,800 student-athletes were named 2021 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes. With the highest total in Association history, it marked the second consecutive year (2018-19) achieving the 8,000-plus plateau.
The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. NCAA Division III led the way with 2,375 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2020-21. NCAA Division I and Division II followed with 1,982 and 1,727 honorees.
