UCF Women's Basketball Helps Wounded Warriors
The UCF women's basketball team spent time helping out with the Wounded Warrior Adaptive Sports Camp at the UCF Recreation and Wellness Center. A hundred Marines injured on duty traveled in from across the United States to take part in this physical rehabilitation program.
Several members of the team, including returning leading scorer Gevenia Carter, got a different perspective on the game by playing basketball with the Marines in wheelchairs. Bright House Sports Network was on the scene and spoke with some of the players. Check out the video and story here.
