It was another full day of work for the UCF baseball team as it prepares for the Black & Gold World Series on Oct. 24-26. Just over two weeks into fall camp, the Knights worked on fundamentals, took batting practice and infield & outfield and also scrimmaged for six innings.

Practicing six days a week, teammates go head-to-head on four of the days in intra-squad scrimmages. Senior Brian Adkins faced off against freshman Tyler Martin and each got in three innings of work. Sophomore Garrett Nuss and Martin's high school teammate at Providence in Jacksonville, Zac Favre, also saw work on Tuesday.

The Knights will be back at it on Wednesday at 2 p.m. All fall practices are open to the public.

Prior to the full day of work on the field, senior catcher Ryan Breen chatted out how the fall season was progressing while also talking about his summer in Virginia and wanting to win his final Black & Gold World Series.
