Knights Spend Time Volunteering in the Community
The UCF women's basketball team spent the weekend of Oct. 20-21 out in the community, volunteering at the Miracle League and the Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure on the UCF campus.
The Central Florida Miracle League welcomes children ages 6-16, and according to its mission statement, the organization strives "to help children with disabilities build self-worth, overcome boundaries and achieve their dreams by participating in America's past-time: Baseball."
Along with the UCF baseball team, the women's basketball players teamed up with the children to play catch and take turns batting and fielding.
On Sunday, the Knights woke up early to volunteer at the Race for the Cure. Check out some of the photos below and view a full gallery on our facebook page.
