Knights Go All Out For Spirit Splash
UCF's most well-known tradition took place on Friday afternoon at Reflecting Pond. Spirit Splash has been known as one of the best homecoming events in the nation and students came out in full force for this year's event.
UCF head football coach George O'Leary and seniors Billy Giovanetti and Kemal Ishmael spoke to the crowd and got all of the Knights fans ready for UCF's homecoming contest against the SMU Mustangs. Even though this tradition has been going on for years, both Giovanetti and Ishmael said it was the first time they got to experience it.
"Just seeing all of the people, it was crazy," Ishmael said. "I've never been here before. It was my first time and it was a good experience for me."
