Golden Knights Head West for Stanford Invitational

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. - The UCF women's rowing team will race three of the top teams in the West when it competes at the Stanford Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The Golden Knights will race head-to-head against Washington State, Stanford and UCLA.

The first NCAA Regional poll was released earlier this week and UCF is ranked fourth in the South.

The Golden Knights open the event on Friday afternoon against Washington State. The Cougars are the top team in the West Region. UCF's varsity eight, second varsity eight, varsity four and novice eight boats will all be in action in California.

On Saturday morning, UCF will race against host Stanford. The Golden Knights will conclude the event against UCLA, ranked fourth in the West, on Saturday afternoon.

Clemson and Tennessee are also participating in the event, but will not face UCF.
