2006-07: Rowed as the stroke of the nationally ranked varsity eight crew...boat was undefeated in the first nine races of the season and were ranked as high as No. 9 in the nation during the spring...beat Iowa, Kansas State, Duke, and Texas at the Longhorn Invitational...won the event title at the Petrakis Cup...defeated Duke and upset No. 7 Virginia in dual competition at Charlottesville, Va....recorded victories over No. 14 Washington State and No. 8 UCLA at the Windermere Real Estate Classic...captured the varsity eight title at the SIRA Championship...finished sixth in the varsity eight petite final at the Aramark South/Central Sprints...competed for the Knights at the NCAA Championship...named a national scholar-athlete by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA)...also earned CRCA South Region first team honors.
2005-06: Rowed in varsity eight that earned a top-20 national ranking...selected to the CRCA All-South Region Second Team...received CRCA National Scholar-Athlete honors...took fourth in the championship eight at the Head of the Hooch...placed second in the varsity eight at the Governor[apos]s Cup....earned fifth place at Crash-B in the collegiate lightweight event...won the varsity eight race at the Petrakis Cup...beat Clemson and North Carolina...claimed the varsity eight title at the FIRA State Championship...took fifth in the varsity eight 'B' final at the Aramark South/Central Sprints...tabbed as the 2006 Row Ontario[apos]s Athlete of the Year.
2004-05: Stroked with the varsity eight for most of the spring season...won the Hurricane Invitational, Petrakis Cup and FIRA Championship...picked up second at the Head of the Hooch, FIT Invitational, San Diego Crew Classic and SIRA Championship.
Prior to UCF: Graduated from Sir Winston Churchill Secondary in 2004...member of the cross country, track and volleyball teams...rowed at the Ridley Graduate Rowing Club...received the 2004 Bobby Pearce Award from Rowing Canada as the Canadian Junior Sculler of the Year...won the Ontario Ergometer Championship all four years...was the Canadian Ergometer Champion in the junior lightweight division in 2004...claimed first place at the Canadian Schoolboy Championship in the senior lightweight single division for three years...an honor roll student.
