Prior to UCF... Attended Broward Community College as a freshman and sophomore but did not compete in track...twice competed at the state 4A championship for Coral Springs High School...named the Gatorade Rookie of the Year and placed ninth at the state championship as a junior...established the school record at 9-0 when she took eighth in the state as a senior...also took fourth place in the district as a member of the 4x100m relay team...selected as the team[apos]s MVP that year...participated in Key Club.
