A former UCF point guard, Ben O'Donnell is in his fourth year as the men's basketball program's strength and conditioning coach. O'Donnell started working with the Knights during the summer of 2011.
O'Donnell spent the 2009-10 campaign at UCF as a backup point guard. He appeared in 11 contests. The Largo, Fla., native began his college career at Florida State, and played in eight games as a freshman in 2007-08, including three in Atlantic Coast Conference play.
O'Donnell earned his bachelor's degree in communications from UCF in 2011. He served as an intern with the UCF strength and conditioning staff in 2010-11. O'Donnell has his master's degree in physical education and exercise science and holds USA Weightlifting, CSCS and CSCCA certifications.
