ORLANDO –  UCF men's basketball wrapped up its 2026-27 roster with the addition of Jahda Swann, head coach Johnny Dawkins announced Wednesday.

Swann, a 6-foot-4 guard from Brooklyn, New York, spent his senior season at St. James Academy in Virginia. He recorded a standout junior campaign at Thomas Jefferson High School in Brooklyn, averaging 25.5 points, 12 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game. Swann carried that success into his senior season, leading St. James Academy in scoring at 16.5 points per game.

He was named the New York State Sportswriters Association AAA Player of the Year after helping lead Thomas Jefferson to a city championship. Swann was also named an East Coast McDonald's All-American nominee for the Class of 2026.

With Swann's addition, the Knights' 15-man roster is complete for the 2026-27 season. UCF returns five players from last season's squad: Carmelo Pacheco, John Bol, Elijah Hulsewe, Arturo Dean and Tanner Jones.

The Knights will also welcome seven transfers: FGCU forward Isaiah Malone, Wofford guard Cayden Vasko, North Carolina A&T forward Lewis Walker, Charleston guard Mister Dean, New Orleans center Churchill Abass, Boston College forward Jason Asemota and Tarleton State guard Dior Johnson.
