ORLANDO - Fourteen members of the UCF Rowing team were named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar-Athletes Thursday afternoon.
Fifth-year senior and Big 12 All-Conference recipient Aryann Johnson earned her fourth selection.
Earning their third career honors were Matrina Pischedda and Charlotte Wiley while Liza Lutter, Aubrie Russo, Tegan Fookes and Julia Going received the award for the second time.
Seven Knights including Connery Cassidy, Annberlee Hothem, Hannah Lovejoy, Veronica Rush, Audrey Vilendrer, Natasjia Voulanas and Martyna Wasilewska achieved their first CRCA Scholar-Athlete nominations.
This is the sixth consecutive season with at least 10 CRCA Scholar-Athletes for the program.
To be eligible for CRCA Scholar-Athlete accolades, each rower must be in at least her second year of eligibility and hold a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher through the fall semester and winter quarter for the 2023-24 season.
