UCF Men's Basketball Know Before You Go

Knight fans UCF’s inaugural Big 12 basketball season is here, with the first home game against Kansas on Wednesday, Jan. 10. Whether you are a UCF student, season ticket holder or a first-time fan joining us this season here are some key things to know before the game!

Student Claim Info

  • Currently enrolled, full-time UCF students are granted FREE admission to all regular-season home games.
  • All event admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Claiming a pass DOES NOT guarantee admission, so be sure to arrive at games EARLY!
  • Claims are currently open for both games listed below and all students must claim a pass for entry.
    • UCF vs. #2 Kansas – Wednesday, January 10th
    • UCF vs. #12 BYU – Saturday, January 13th

  • The student entrance at Addition Financial Arena is located across from Tower 1, extending down West Plaza Drive.

Traffic Advisory (first week of school)
UCF’s spring semester is back in session with classes starting Monday, Jan. 8. Traffic around the Arena and on campus is expected. We encourage all fans to arrive early and allow for extra time.

Save time and Cost – Buy your basketball parking in advance 
Parking purchased in advance will cost $10.15 per parking pass and can be purchased here.

Parking upon arrival will cost $12.89, credit card only.

UCF Gameday App
All Students, and fans are strongly encouraged to download the UCF Gameday App and “opt-in" to push notifications – to stay up-to-date on all information for gameday.

Advance sales on Ticketmaster will end at tipoff.

Basketball Block Parties 
Block parties are back this season, and everyone is invited! The Knights will host six free block parties this season with the first slated for Wednesday, Jan. 10 from 5 – 7 p.m. prior to the UCF men’s basketball team taking on No. 2 Kansas at 7 p.m. inside Addition Financial Arena.

The family-friendly events will take place on East Plaza Drive and will feature food and drinks through local establishments, inflatables and games for kids, music, tabling with giveaways and much more.

Admission to the block parties is free and parking will be available in local parking garages. Season parking passes will also continue to work like any normal gameday.

East Plaza Drive will close five hours before game time on Block Party dates.
