ORLANDO - In a matchup between the Denver Broncos and the Arizona Cardinals, Latavius Murray had his biggest game of the season. The Broncos' running back ran for 130 yards on 24 attempts and added 12 yards on one catch. Murray also scored a 10-yard touchdown in the second quarter, his fifth of the year. The touchdown increased Denver's lead to 17-9, and the Broncos would go on to win the game, 24-15.

Murray, a UCF Hall of Famer, has now surpassed 6,000 career rushing yards, and is one of six active players to accomplish this feat. He also has at least 500 rushing yards in eight straight seasons, and now has 13 career games with more than 100 rushing yards (per Pro Football Reference).
After the game, Murray gave an inspirational speech to his teammates in the locker room.

Three other UCF alumni were featured in the game between the Broncos and Cardinals. Denver wide receiver Brandon Johnson recorded his first career start and made three catches for 30 yards. On the other side of the ball, defensive tackle Trysten Hill recorded his first sack for Arizona, while kicker Matt Prater made all three field-goal attempts.
Houston Texans' tight end Jordan Akins scored his third touchdown of the season against the Kansas City Chiefs. Akins now has 28 receptions for 348 yards on the year.
