ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF women's soccer team opens the 2021 slate on Thursday, August 19 at 6 p.m. as the Knights play host to Texas at the UCF Soccer Complex. Learn more about the 26 players on the squad set to take the pitch this fall.
The Returners The Black and Gold will return 21 players from the 2020-21 campaign, which was played in the spring of 2021. Included in the 21 returnees, Madison Murnin and Ellie Moreno return after being named to the American Athletic Conference All-Conference Second Team, and Katie Bradley returns after earning AAC All-Rookie team honors.

The NewcomersUCF will also welcome 10 newcomers joining the squad from Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, New York, Washington, Spain, and Sweden. Three of the new faces are transfers, including Lizah Pistorio and Marta Estupinan from Ole Miss, and Cara Young from Eastern Florida State College. Anna Henderson will also be eligible after sitting out the spring campaign when she arrived on campus from Louisville.

- As a redshirt sophomore, logged 102 minutes in two appearances, allowing just one goal

- Member of a team that won the 2016 and 2017 FHSAA Class 5A State Championships (and was runner-up in 2015)
3 | Marta Estupinan
- Transferred to UCF from Ole Miss, where she logged 227 minutes with five starts in six appearances
- Transferred to Ole Miss from Junior Tyler College
- Earned back-to-back NJCAA All-American nods in addition to All-Region laurels
- Helped the Apache's to the 2019 NJCAA National Championship after finishing runner-up in 2018
- Named the Defensive MVP of the 2019 NJCAA National Tournament
4 | Saga Jontoft
- Joins the Knights from Vittsjö in Damallsvenskan, Sweden's top league
- Has played with the U17 and U19 Swedish National team, making 17 caps and 19 caps respectively.
6 | Anna Henderson
- Transfer from Louisville, made 18 appearances and one start prior to UCF
- Prior to Louisville, Henderson played for ECNL Crossfire Premiere
- Advanced to the 2015 ECNL National Playoff Final Four and the 2016 ECNL National Playoff Finals
11 | Xashlie Negron
- Played four years at Montverde Academy
- Back-to-back Class 4A Girls Soccer State Champion in freshman and sophomore seasons at Montverde; No. 1 ranked high school team in the nation in junior season
- Graduated top 1% of graduating class at Montverde Academy, Member of National Society of Leadership and Success

- Played four years at Montverde Academy
- Back-to-back Class 4A Girls Soccer State Champion in freshman and sophomore seasons at Montverde; No. 1 ranked high school team in the nation in junior season
- Member of Montverde International F.C.
15 | Mia Asenjo
- Scored four goals in the CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship with the U20 Dominican Republic National Team
- Named 2020-21 Gatorade Florida Girls Soccer Player of the Year
- Named to the 2019 ECNL All-America team after leading Valley Stream South HS to a New York State Class A Championship
25 | Cara Young
- Transferred from Eastern Florida State College
- Played in 10 games with nine starts for the Titans - scored four goals with six assists on the year
- Transferred from Arkansas to Eastern Florida State College
- Logged 282 minutes with 16 appearances as a freshman at Arkansas
- Ranked as the No. 12 player in the South Region for the 2019 recruiting class, according to Top Drawer Soccer
- Was a Tennessee D1-AAA State Champion in 2015, 2017 and 2018
28 | Paige Scuro
- Attended South Carolina Connections Academy in Simpsonville, S.C. while competing with South Carolina FC in the ECNL U18
30 | Lizah Pistorio
- Transferred to UCF after redshirting and not seeing see any game action through two seasons at Ole Miss
- A three-time letterwinner at Providence Senior High School in Charlotte, North Carolina
- Helped lead the Panthers to the 2016 state championship
- Named the conference and region goalkeeper of the year as a senior
