ORLANDO – The UCF football team improved to 5-2 over the weekend, while 13 former Knights saw action on the field in Week 7 of the 2019 NFL season, including Latavius Murray, who had his best game of the season as the New Orleans Saints defeated the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.
Murray, who started in place of the injured Alvin Kamara, rushed 27 times for 119 yards and scored two touchdowns on the ground. He also caught five passes for 31 receiving yards as the Saints won 36-25 and improved to 6-1 on the season.
It marked Murray's most rushing yards in a game since going for 155 on the ground against the Arizona Cardinals on Oct. 14, 2018 and the 27 rushes were a career high for the back.
