ORLANDO – All 32 NFL teams cut their rosters down to just 53 players this week, and 16 former Knights made the cut on 12 different teams. Three others remain on reserves and two earned practice squad spots as week one of the 2019 season nears.
A number of Knights were waived following preseason camp, including three from UCF's 2018 squad in Rashard Causey with the Denver Broncos, Matthew Wright with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Michael Colubiale with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Trysten Hill remains with the Dallas Cowboys after being selected in the second round of this past spring's NFL Draft. Taj McGowan is also still on the Jacksonville Jaguars roster, currently on the injured reserve list, while Wyatt Miller earned a practice squad spot on the Cincinnati Bengals.
Jeremy Boykins of the Seattle Seahawks and DJ Killings of the Oakland Raiders are also on reserves, while Jordan Franks joins Miller on the Bengals' practice roster.
The other big move around cut day was Justin McCray getting traded from the Green Bay Packers to the Cleveland Browns, where he joins fellow former Knight Charley Hughlett.

While the current Knights prepare for Week 2 at FAU, these former Knights get set for Week 1 of the NFL season, which includes Kemal Ishmael and the Atlanta Falcons taking on Mike Hughes and the Minnesota Vikings Sunday at 1 p.m. and Jordan Akins' Houston Texans playing at the New Orleans Saints with Tre'Quan Smith and Latavius Murray Monday night at 7 p.m.
