ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – Another week of the NFL season is in the rearview mirror as 15 former Knights saw action and seven started, including Clayton Geathers, who put forth his second straight week of double-digit tackles.
Geathers, who had 12 tackles last week, finished with 11 tackles against the defending Super Bowl Champion Eagles. The safety also had a pass break-up as his Colts fell to the Eagles 20-16 on a touchdown with just 3:02 to play in the game.
Now in his 12th season in the NFL and fifth with the Lions, Matt Prater came up huge for Detroit this weekend. He went four-for-four on field goals as Detroit took down New England 26-10 on Sunday Night Football.
