ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – With the start of the 2017 football season on the horizon, another year of watching NFL Knights is set to get started for fans of the Black and Gold. Among the 21 former UCF players on NFL rosters this summer has been Seahawks rookie Shaquill Griffin, who is battling for a starting position in Seattle.
In three wins in the Seahawks first three preseason games, Griffin has totaled eight tackles and four passes defended. His best outing was against the Minnesota Vikings when he racked up four total tackles and two pass break-ups.

The Knights also have a number of former players on new teams for 2017, including Brandon Marshall, who was able to remain in the same city in going from the New York Jets to the New York Giants.
- Marshall is a six-time Pro Bowler and is one of just six players in NFL history to catch at least 100 passes in three consecutive seasons.
