TULSA, Okla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF completes the regular season with a trip to Tulsa for its final series in American Athletic Conference play. The American Digital Network broadcasts the series opener at 6 p.m. ET Friday.
The remaining two contests from the Collins Family Softball Complex are set for 4 p.m. ET Saturday and 1 p.m. ET Sunday. Fans can watch those games via subscription-based Hurricane Vision.
UCF
UCF (27-21) swept its doubleheader at Bethune-Cookman on Wednesday behind a 5-for-7 performance by sophomore Cassady Brewer, who drove in four runs. Senior Brittany Solis tied a career high with three hits in the 6-1 game-one victory. A solo homer by freshman Jazmine Esparza sparked the Knights in a 5-4 victory in the second contest.
The Knights enter their final conference series of the season ranked third in the league standings with a 9-6 mark and can finish between second and fourth place following their three-game set at Tulsa.
The offense is led by senior Linnea Goodman, who has compiled a .378 batting average and contributed 15 doubles and 22 RBI. Brewer paces the squad with four homers and 31 RBI, while recording a .358 average. A total of 22 runs, eight doubles and two homers have been tallied by junior Courtney Rotton.
Freshman Alea White notched a win and save in the doubleheader vs. the Wildcats. The Land O'Lakes, Fla., native improved to 17-13 on the campaign. Senior Manami Calixto (5-3) also tallied a victory at Bethune-Cookman in two innings of relief. The tandem of freshmen Damara Begin and Kamryn Toney have also made contributions in the circle.
Tulsa
Tulsa clinched its first regular season championship in The American following a sweep at East Carolina last week. The Hurricane have a 14-1 league mark and are 36-13 overall. The squad is currently ranked No. 25 in the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll and No. 24 in the ESPN.com/USA Collegiate Top 25.
Julia Hollingsworth paces Tulsa with a .383 batting average, five homers and 28 RBI. The other top run producers for Tulsa are Maddie Withee (26) and Morgan Neal (21).
The Hurricane are led in the circle by Emily Watson, who has compiled a 1.02 ERA with a 25-3 record along with 296 strikeouts in 191.2 innings. Haley Meinen has gone 6-1 with a 1.61 ERA and fanned 14 over 55.2 frames. Four wins have been notched by Lexi Blevins, who has struck out 44 in 61.2 innings.
Series History
Tulsa has a 20-15 advantage in the all-time series, which has been dominated by the home team. The Golden Hurricane are 12-4 on its home field, while the Knights are 10-7 in contests played in Orlando. The last time the Knights traveled to Tulsa was 2015 when they won their first road series over the Hurricane. The two squads were also members of Conference USA from 2006-13.

UCF heads Greenville N.C., for The American Championship on Tuesday and opens the three-day event on May 11. The final bracket for the tournament will be released on Sunday evening following the conclusion of the regular season.
