ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF Knight Talk returns Thursday at 6 p.m. at CaddyShanks – UCF. UCF men's basketball head coach Johnny Dawkins, men's basketball assistant coach Kevin Norris, senior basketball forward Nick Banyard and UCF baseball head coach Greg Lovelady will join Voice of the Knights Marc Daniels on the program.
UCF Knight Talk is live every Thursday and airs on FM 96.9 The Game. It's a great experience for fans to get an inside look at Knights Athletics live and in person at CaddyShanks. With a great atmosphere and interactive activities, fans are encouraged to stop by early and stay late to enjoy all that CaddyShanks has to offer.
On this week's show Coach Dawkins will break down the UCF men's basketball team's recent victory over Tulsa and preview upcoming road games at East Carolina and Temple. Norris will then stop by to talk to fans about working under Dawkins and his first year with the Knights. Banyard, following a career night against the Golden Hurricane, will join the show to talk about the team's success and what the Knights need to do heading down the final stretch of the 2016-17 season.
Coach Lovelady will close out the show as the UCF baseball team is set to open up the 2017 season on Friday. In his first season at the helm of the Knights, the former Wright State head coach will get UCF fans all up to speed on what this year's team will look like and preview the upcoming three-game series against Siena. The Knights and the Saints will play Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. before closing out the series Sunday at 1 p.m. Admission on Opening Knight is free.
