The Toss

- With the win, Tulsa now leads the all-time series 7-4 and has won six of the last seven meetings.
- The two teams are now tied 3-3 in games played in Orlando.
Offensive Notes
- Freshman Adrian Killins' touchdown in the fourth quarter was his fourth on the ground this season and seventh overall. He also scored two receiving touchdowns and one on a kickoff return.
- The Knights went 4-for-4 on third down conversions on the touchdown drive, having only been 4-of-16 before that.
- The Knights finished just 8-for-23 on third down for the game.
- With 223 yards passing, freshman McKenzie Milton recorded the fourth 200-yard passing game of his freshman season.
- It also marked his fourth game without an interception thrown.
- The 37 yards gained rushing by Milton was a season best.
- Freshman Cam Stewart set a new season high with 35 receiving yards on four receptions.
Defensive Notes
- The Knights came in ranked third in the nation with 23 takeaways on the year and increased that number to 24 with senior D.J. Killings' interception for a touchdown in the first quarter.
- It marked UCF's seventh defensive or special teams touchdown this season.
- It was Killings' third interception on the campaign and the fifth of his career.
- Junior Tony Guerad led the Knights with a career high 12 tackles on the night. His previous best was eight against Furman on 9/19/15.
- Junior Shaquem Griffin recorded half a sack in the game, increasing his season total to 11, which is tied for sixth best in a single season in UCF history.
- Griffin came into the game ranked sixth in the nation in sacks.
Special Team Notes
- Freshman Adrian Killins' 57-yard kick return was the team's second longest of the season, only behind Killins' 100-yard touchdown return against East Carolina.
- It was the Knights' eight longest play overall on the year.
- Senior Shaquill Griffin's blocked field goal in the second quarter was the first for UCF since Jamiyus Pittman blocked one against FIU on Sept. 3, 2015.
- Sophomore Matthew Wright connected on field goals from 48 and 47 yards and is now 7-for-10 on field goals from the 40-49 yard range. He is 14-of-19 overall with a season long of 50 yards.
